Mauve Manor is an online bookstore offering curated “blind date with a book” experiences. We sell surprise books, bundled with care and a little magic. Because of the nature of our service, certain policies differ from traditional book retailers (see Returns Policy).

Purchases from Mauve Manor are blind and curated, meaning:

  • You won’t know the book’s title or author until you unwrap it

  • We don’t accept returns or refunds based on personal reading preferences

  • Any “hints” or “themes” provided are for fun and are not guaranteed descriptors

5. Payment & Billing

We accept major credit cards and other secure payment methods as listed at checkout. By submitting your payment information, you represent that you are authorized to use the selected payment method.

6. Shipping & Delivery

Please refer to our Shipping Policy for full details. We do our best to deliver your bookish surprises on time, but we can’t be held responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs, or other events outside our control.

7. Returns & Refunds

Because Mauve Manor specializes in blind date with a book experiences, all sales are generally final. However, we want you to be satisfied with your experience. Please review the following return conditions:

a. Final Sale Items

  • All blind date books, mystery bundles, and curated surprises are non-returnable and non-refundable unless damaged or incorrect.

b. Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If your order arrives:

  • Damaged

  • With the wrong item(s)

  • Or missing contents

You must contact us at returns@mauvemanor.com within 7 days of delivery with:

  • Your order number

  • A clear description of the issue

  • Supporting photo(s), if applicable

We’ll review and may offer:

  • A replacement shipment

  • Store credit

  • A full or partial refund, depending on the situation

c. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return:

  • Opened or read books

  • Gift cards

  • Custom orders

  • Special bundles or limited edition sets

d. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or card provider.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this site — including logos, product descriptions, text, images, and branding — is the property of Mauve Manor and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without our written permission.
